Ivan GenadievIvan Genadiev has over eight years of experience in investment banking, management, and investments in the United States and Europe.

As an investment banker, Ivan has advised on mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, restructurings, and capital raises in excess of $30 billion across various industries worldwide. He played a leading execution role in landmark transactions in the media & communications industry, including the €5 billion merger, restructuring, and recapitalization of media conglomerate Grupo Prisa (CATS:PRS) and the $670 million divestiture of the wireless tower portfolio of Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S) to Soros Fund Management.  On Wall Street, Ivan worked at merchant bank Daroth Capital, full-service investment bank Wachovia Securities, and cross-border advisory firm Tegris.  Upon his return to Bulgaria in 2011, he joined Entrea Capital, where he managed several sell-side projects and a successful government tender application for the restructuring of the National Electricity Company.

On the operating side, Ivan served as Chief of Staff to the CEO of Global Crossing (Nasdaq:GLBC), a global telecommunications provider with $2.5 billion of revenues and 5,000 employees.  At Global Crossing, Ivan was directly involved in substantially all senior management and Board matters.  In particular, he was instrumental in the streamlining of business development strategy and the execution of a $750 million financing round.

Ivan began his professional career with the asset management training program at AIG Global Investment Group, gaining exposure to over $1 trillion across various asset classes, including private equity fund-of-funds and real estate investing.

An avid runner and art collector, Ivan is active with charity sporting events and serves as Junior Associate at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Ivan holds a Bachelor degree with distinction in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States and is a graduate of the American College of Sofia, Bulgaria.
